When there is a passion in your heart to do something productive and positive—follow that passion, follow that dream. I did, and in so doing, I discovered the difference between what I would like to do and who I am. I am a self-published author.
I encourage anyone and everyone who has the desire to write, whether you feel too old or too young, to not be concerned. Just write and don't fear age, misspelled words, or grammar problems. That can be taken care of later. Writing is what is important. Get your ideas down, then make them into sentences, and then into paragraphs. The next thing you realize, you have a book or a story! Self-publishing makes it possible for you to have your book in your hands, available on platforms like Amazon.com, LuLu.com, and other major outlets.
